Case Management
Division of Developmental Disabilities provides family support and helps link families to community services; early intervention programs, S.S.I., etc.

Early Intervention Programs
Birth to Three Developmental Center provides early intervention services for infants and toddlers in their homes, community child care settings or in play groups.

Tacoma Learning Center provides a parent cooperative child development program for children birth to three and their families. Support services for parents and Family Resource Coordination are available.

Tacoma School District Hearing Impaired Program provides early intervention services for children birth to three diagnosed with a hearing loss.

Parent Support
Pierce County Parent to Parent provides emotional support and information on community resources for parents who have a child with a disability or chronic health need.

Community Inclusion Program is designed to empower and enable families and persons with disabilities to access community services and resources and "Circles of Support." Services are provided in Southeast Pierce County, Peninsula area, and Westside Pierce County.

Dads Supporting Dads provides monthly support group meetings for fathers who have a child with a disability or chronic health needs.

Pierce County Parent Coalition is an organization of parents and individuals with a disability for a united voice on legislative and educational issues, monthly newsletter.

Child Care Resource and Referral Service as a parent with a child registered with DDD, you are entitled to enhanced childcare referral.

Specialized Training of Military Parents provides information and assistance to military families, throughout the world, who have children with special education needs.
